Inspired by our three boys, every decision is made with integrity and a forward-thinking vision to deliver exceptional fruit to our markets.

Cultivating expertise, nurturing growth

Tim Vandenberg, with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and an MBA, brings a wealth of corporate and practical horticulture experience to Timmel Ridge Estate. Having grown up in the industry, his deep understanding is matched by Mel's dedicated support in day-to-day operations and business administration. This blend of academic knowledge and hands-on experience forms the robust foundation of our family business, ensuring every decision is precise and calculated.

Growth from the ground up

From our first farm purchase just over 10 years ago, Timmel Ridge Estate has expanded rapidly, now boasting multiple varieties of citrus. We grow early to late season navel and valencia oranges, mandarins, lemons, and limes. Our farming philosophy, "If the investment goes into the tree, the tree will give you a return," guides our every action. We believe that by putting love and thoughtful care into our trees, they reward us with premium fruit, competitive on a global scale.
